I’m beginning to think my account was compromised and/or sold.

Since my account has been blocked the India subreddits are gone. I’ve never visited India subreddits so I did find it weird but didn’t pay much attention. I figured maybe Surfshark or Reddit was having an issue. I’m in the US and always used US or UK servers (UK for Netflix, rarely). Interestingly enough, over the last week my Reddit feed was full of subreddits from India and I couldn’t figure out why. I did reach out to support via chat, they won’t tell my why my account got blocked. Any other experiences here? I know there are other options out there that may be better or just as good so I’m not completely bummed out, I’m just surprised this happened considering I had just paused SurfShark because the Reddit app was being glitchy and then received the email a few minutes later. Why do people like TunnelBear The main reason for it is that it has a full-functionality free plan. Though its popularity has somewhat decreased by 2020, right now the provider recovers its past demand. Between my wife and I we are using four devices so I’m not over the limit. TunnelBear is one of the most popular VPN providers with a free plan. Nothing nefarious, I stream TV at home through my smart TV so I rarely (but sometimes) use VPN’s for mobile streaming. I mainly use a VPN for added layer of protection for web surfing, online banking and some work related sites. Received an email this morning that my account was blocked for “some unusual activity which breaches our fair usage policy.” I’ve read through the ToS and I haven’t violated any of the rules.
